Sheila Hillıs career as an artist began at an early age. She designed and created colorful clothes for her dolls and continued designing clothes for herself throughout her young adult life. She had a short career as a production artist, design artist, and window designer at some of Fort Worthıs highest quality department stores. She began painting at the age of 50 and immediately knew that this was her heartıs calling.
Sheilaıs style and use of color are as unique as she is. Her ability to let her playful spirit show through in her painting is indeed a talent. Her style as a Creative Impressionist lets her paint without boundaries or rules. Her paintings are primarily rendered in water-based oil.
Her art work has been exhibited at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden Center, Atrium Gallery at University of North Texas Health Science Center, Fort Worth Petroleum Club, Fort Worth Womanıs Club and Coffee House Gallery and Café. In addition, many other private and public collections throughout the United States have displayed her work. She has won numerous blue ribbons and awards, including Best of Show.
